Visited a few times with work, always a friendly reception pleasant stay. Had a meal at night in the restaurant, food and service was really good. Breakfast was great in the morning with plenty of options.

Stayed one night, very friendly, lovely rooms, good breakfast, very reasonable price.Had several drinks in the lively busy bar,with a very busy service.Breakfast was to a very high standard, 100% worth 5 stars.

We only ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent; beef and stilton pie and chicken katsu chicken. Both highly recommended.

Excellent food & fantastic staff.
15/10/24 been twice in the last week and once again sfaff and food was fantastic, booked a table and there was a 60th birthday party on but the staff still looked after us througout our meal, they really excelled in all area's, tried the build a burger night, great idea and well worth it, I would without hesitation highly recommend this place.

Great value rooms above a lovely pub. We booked the small double, but it was more than adequate for 2 nights and had everything you needed. Really comfy and clean. Only slight problem was the only window was a skylight so room got quite hot at night as didn't want to keep it open incase it rained . Excellent breakfast and staff couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely go back there.

We only popped in for a drink or 3, very nice bar and great friendly service. With sausages as bar snacks,what's not to like! Dogs are allowed as are girls,but they weren't here during my visit😄 Like the Terminator, I'll be back.

A room in the courtyard was lovely and clean. Modern bathroom which was spotless, towels, hairdryer supplied along with a small fridge. Coffee machine in the room with coffee and bottles of water supplied. We had meals in the bar area and the food was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.
